Highlight of the Night: The Eltham Cricket Club raffle was drawn, and after spending hundreds of dollars the Chrimes family took out both prizes which included a limited edition Black Caviar framed poster, and some lovely tea towels and soap from the Yarra Valley. Thankfully Matty Chrimes celebration was caught on camera and can be seen by clicking the link below.
The Eltham Cricket Club would also like to thank life members Dick & Jo Norman for attending the evening, as well as all of the current players & their partners for coming along. Finally, a big thank you to our caterer Rob Berry and his family for the superb 3 course meal the put us, and Tristan for belting out some ripper tunes.
Eltham Wins Bid to Host Barclay Shield Grand Final for Sixth Straight Season.
The Eltham Cricket Club will once again host the most prestigious match of the DVCA cricket season after the leagues executives met earlier this month. Various factors are taken into account during the decision making process for the DVCA executives including ground condition, viewing, parking, and facilities.
The Eltham Cricket Club are extremely pleased with the decision and are ready to host another successful event between two arch rivals in Diamond Creek & Plenty. Please note food and drink will be available at the venue, furthermore the venues liquor license prohibits alcohol from being brought onto the premises.
The Eltham Cricket Club will also be hosting an exciting curtain raiser with the U/16 Grand Final between Montmorency & Riverside starting at 8:30am, the Barclay Shield Final will begin at 1:00pm.
